Cupboards of Disappearing Artefacts

CUPBOARDS OF DISAPPEARING ARTEFACTS

ABOUT THE OBJECT

UCL Cultures holds hundreds of thousands of objects in their collections, but most rarely see the light of day. The vast majority of objects are stored underground, in cupboards and drawers of often unknown specimens. The Grant Museum of Zoology, for example, only has 7% of its 68,000-strong collection on display at any one time.

CHALLENGE

Create a UCL wing for your museum. Collect 3 items for the wing, one beginning with U, one beginning with C and one beginning with L.
